ABOUT MMOA

On a mission to advance care for older adults by equipping rehab & fitness pros.

The first MMOA Live course.

MMOA started in 2017 by Drs. Christina Prevett and Dustin Jones. Both were less than thrilled with how older adults were being treated in the rehabilitation and fitness industries. Often underdosed and rarely respected, they felt the older adult population deserved better.

In partnership with the Institute of Clinical Excellence, they then set out to create a comprehensive certification for clinicians and fitness professionals to better serve older adults.

Since 2017, MMOA now consists of a dedicated team of other clinicians that are working tirelessly to spread the OLD ≠ WEAK message in order to create a better world for older adults.
